Holiday Coasters for Cyndi & Pete
These were made for Cyndi and Pete using the Quilt in the Hoop patterns from Embroidery Garden (http://embroiderygarden.com/shop/).

SpongeBob Quilt

SpongeBob Braided Quilt for Rick & Amie

Quilt was made from jelly roll purchased at Joann's Fabric. Extra yellow material was purchased and used for the border. The yellow in the braid is spongebob fabric (didn't use the yellow strips which were the same material as the border).  Running joke with Rick about SpongeBob, every year I give him something with SpongeBob on it. Brown fabric was the sashing. The border was done by stitching together pieces left over from the strips. It was quilted with straight lines along the braided session. Leaves were marked on the border and then quilted. The pattern was a mixture of pattern ideas.
